About Zhejiang University
Zhejiang University, located in the populous eastern city of Hangzhou, China has six campuses and occupies a total area of 533 hectares (approx. 1330 acres). The university currently has over 41,000 full-time students, including 30,000 undergraduates, 8,000 postgraduates working for master's degrees and 3,200 Ph.D. candidates. The Center of Analysis and Measurement of Zhejiang university, founded in 1980, is one of the first setting up analytical center in the universities belongs to the Ministry of Education of China.
About the (China) National Engineering Research Center for Applied Power Electronics (NERCAPE)
The (China) National Engineering Research Center for Applied Power Electronics (NERCAPE) utilizes the analytical disciplines in Zhejiang University and functions as a channel for coordinating the timely scale-up from scientific research to small-scale production and manufacturing.
The NERCAPE test base for testing power electronic apparatus is up to 560kVA; and includes an advanced power electronic system simulation laboratory, VLSI design capability, MCM analysis, EMI analysis, reliability analysis etc; and an advanced EMC pre-conformance testing laboratory. NERCAPE also supports a high-speed signal processing and SMT laboratory. These Labs are equipped with the latest testing equipment and auto-testing software. NERCAPE has transitioned several advanced research projects to full (China) market production capability. NERCAPE orients its major research to key technologies for applied power electronics, and power electronic apparatus and systems.
