Line Source  Monitor Bus

Introducing AUTOTEST's new Line Source Monitor Bus, a multiple source measurement and control instrument which simplifies complicated parallel input testing and monitoring, as well as increases the quality and capabilities of three phase AC Line Source Testing. The user may address up to 16 sources in one Line Source Monitor Chassis, including mixes of single phase AC, three phase AC and DC. Each chassis is an individual IEEE instrument. Simultaneous measurement capabilities of any mix include: peak inrush current, TRMS voltage, TRMS current, and True Power (AC). The Line Source Monitor continuously monitors all measurements and provides the ability to report at any time.

When working with DC sources, the Line Source Monitor offers such features as:

• Voltage, current and inrush current measurement.
• Control of source voltage and current limit.
• Control of optional FET switches for fast rise times.

Solid State and Autotransformer AC Sources can also be measured and controlled by the Line Source Monitor.

There Features include:

• Voltage, current and inrush current measurement.
• Simultaneous input power measurement for all single or three phase sources.
• Independent phase control for three phase Autotransformers, including the ability to program independent phase dropout.
• A choice of Autotransformer turn on at 0 or 90 .
• Software selectable three phase Variac feedback control for any phase or line combination.

Other Line Source Monitor benefits include:

• The use of one tester to test a wide range of products, therefore offering tremendous monetary savings to the user.
• More measurements with fewer instruments, using less space, and at a lower cost. This is due to its compact bus structure (10 1/2" high x 19" wide), and because it replaces Watt Transducers, True Power Boards, 4 Channel Boards and Line Source Boards.
• AC Line Source Monitor instruments allow measurement of all three phases of a three phase source simultaneously;
  Including: InRush Current, RMS current, Line to Line and Line to Neutral RMS Voltage, and True Power.
• As a stand-alone IEEE instrument bus, the Line Source Monitor gives the user a more flexible system configuration, offering easier and more cost effective upgrades of existing tester.
• The Line Source Monitor three phase Variac control provides program selectable Line-to-Line or Line-to-Neutral Variac Feedback.
