The AUTOTEST CR Series of Solid State AC Sources provide an excellent performance enhancement for the UPS Series of Power Supply Test systems. They also provide a superior stand-alone AC Power Source capability with the optional manual control and monitoring for bench top testing. These High Performance sources were specifically designed by AUTOTEST Company to provide the ultimate in programmable AC power.

All sources include an IEEE 488 (GPIB) interface for easy computer control. They are fully programmable from either control method for Frequencies of 45 to 6500 Hz. This makes the CR series one of the highest frequency sources on the market. They provide Voltages of 0-270 VAC as a standard, with other voltages available upon request.

In addition, to provide the ultimate in AC Line testing, there is an added Event programming capability. With this capability, the user may program line disturbances for worst case testing scenarios. In 3 Phase models, even the phase relationship and individual phase amplitudes may be programmed.

For output waveform purity, the CR series uses a Class A linear amplifier output with peak voltage regulation. There is no switching noise to cause wave shape distortion. There is no ambiguity on high crest factor loads. This pure AC wave shape will provide a solid baseline for testing repeatability.
